Elizabeth A. “Libby” Isaacs

Elizabeth A. “Libby” Isaacs, age 62, of Mt. Sterling, OH, passed away in her sleep while at home and into the loving arms of her Savior on Saturday, July 4, 2020. 

A native of Jackson, OH, Libby was a graduate of Jackson High School, Class of 1976, a graduate of Rio Grande University and Clark State University. She worked for Nationwide Insurance for over 20 years before working with Manheim Auto Auctions.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Gertrude Merricks; brothers, James Goff and Ronnie Merricks; sister, Betty Merricks Riegle and father-in-law, Leon Steve Isaacs.

Libby is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Brian K. Isaacs; sister, Linda (Richard) Coyan of Circleville; brother, David (Marge) Goff of Charlotte, NC; sister-in-law, Betty Goff of Jackson; brother-in-law, Dean Riegle of Jackson; mother-in-law, Jean (Elmer) Isaacs Mason; and brother-in-law, Leonard (Angela) Isaacs, all of Mt. Sterling; sisters-in-law, Leanne (Tom) Buck of Mt. Sterling and Brenda Isaacs Pass of Lorain, OH; and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 8 at the Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, 331 West Main St., Mt. Sterling, OH 43143 — where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2020 with Pastor John Burr officiating.  Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery, Mt. Sterling.
