Thomas D. Riffle, III, age 45, of Wellston, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 21, 2019, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born Nov. 23, 1973 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Thomas D. Riffle, Jr. and Martha Peoples Riffle Corvin.
Tommy was a 1992 graduate of Wellston High School, where he was an active member of the W.H.S. football, baseball and basketball teams. He was an enthusiastic Cleveland Browns fan, as well as a big fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds. Tommy loved his sports! He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 9092 Men’s Auxiliary of Wellston and the Sons of the American Legion Post 371 of Wellston.

Corvin (Jenny) of Wellston, Robbie Corvin (Cheyenne) of Wellston, Scott Faught (Briana) of Wellston, and Nathan Faught (Angela) of Wellston; sisters, Deanna Barney (Brent) of Wellston and Courtney Hinty (Josh) of Athens; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of close friends.
