Wanda Jean (Waulk) Humphreys

Wanda Jean (Waulk) Humphreys, age 77, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. She was born in Glen Roy, Ohio, on January 16, 1939. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mildred (Powell) Waulk; husband, Jim Humphreys in 2013 and a brother, James Waulk.

Wanda was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Jackson Mothers Club. She loved crocheting, reading, sewing, crafts and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by children: James David “Dave” (Paula) Humphreys, George (Donna) Humphreys, Sean Humphreys and Gidget (Daniel) Bowling; brother, Max Goheen; sister, Elizabeth Goheen; nine grandchildren: Amie, Jared, Koty, Shawnee, Jessica, Sydney, Tyler, Lexi and Kelsey; eight great-grandchildren: Lindsey, Brooklyn, Brydn, Kolsyn, Jimasyn, Rowan, Linkyn and Ella; a special niece, Linda Brandau and several other nieces and nephews and many close friends.

Friends will be received at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Friday, April 1, from 4 to 8 p.m.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Saturday, April 2, at 10:30 a.m. with Father Joe Yokum officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
