Mildred G. Oiler, age 94 of Jackson, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and loved ones on April 2, 2016 at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was born February 24, 1922 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Everett and Ivy Belle Duhl Dixon. Mildred was proud to have lived in Jackson her entire life. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, singing and watching birds from her front porch. She was devoted to her family and was a caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her and will always be remembered for her kindness, strong will and unwavering love for her family.
She is survived by daughters: Dorene Rader (Mack) and Vivian (Glen) Nichols, sons: Johnny Oiler (Lisa) , Paul (Gail) Oiler, Terry Oiler and Rodney Oiler (Marilyn) , 22 grandchildren, 34 great grand children and 6 great great grandchildren. She was also survived by several nieces, nephews and several step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sons: Frank, Jerry, Roger, Rudy and Brian Oiler, 5 brothers, 5 sisters, 2 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and son-in-law Brad Rader.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Butch Cooper officiating and burial to follow in the Fairmount Cemetery. Family will receive friends, Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Jackson County Heart Support Group, P.O.
