Louise Bowling, age 72, of Jackson, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 23, 2015. She passed away at Holzer Senior Care of Gallipolis after a brief illness. She was born May 6, 1943 in Jackson, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Wayne and Frances (Seal) Tudor. Louise was a retired teacher with the Adult Basic Literacy Education (ABLE) program in Wellston, Ohio.
Louise is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ernie L. Bowling Sr.; children: Mary (Don) Bush of Racine, Ernie “Lee” Bowling, Vincent Bowling, Anthony (Rhonda) Bowling, all of Jackson and Tina Brandeberry of Rio Grande; grandchildren: Donald Bush, Mary Beth (Brad) Morrison, Kim (Joe) Dawson, Kyle Bowling, Jason Bowling, April (Tyler) Porter, Kaylee Bowling and Emily Sanders; great-grandchildren: Nathaniel, Brayden and Brynliegh Porter, Isabella and Cheyenne Morrison and her little pup Izzy. Also surviving are sisters and brothers: Grace (Jim) Turner, Max Tudor and Connie Tudor, all of Jackson, Vida (Ed) Scott of Portsmouth and Harry (Clara) Tudor of Kansas, as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters: Libby Bowling and Debra Bowling Sanders; son-in-law, David Brandeberry and one sister, Mary Horton.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2015 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Kincaid officiating, with burial to follow in the Bailey Chapel Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the funeral home.
