Bryce Edward Coleman, age 11, of Jackson, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, after an extended illness. He was born in Gallipolis on November 21, 2003, to Sherri (Brown) and Allen Coleman, who survive.
He is also survived by his brother, Jacob Coleman; uncles: Charlie (Kelly) Brown, Daniel Coleman and Mike (Laura) Adams; aunts: Marie (Howard) Brown and Stephanie Hetherington; grandpa and grandma, Charles and Joy Brown; cousins: Micca, Leah, Hailey, Tyler, Ryan, Kyndle, Maya, Ian and Molly; great-uncle, Roby Coleman of Grundy, Virginia and great-aunt, Barbara Coleman of Mint Hill, North Carolina.
Bryce had an “unforgettable laugh”.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jessie Coleman; a sister, Ellen Coleman; maternal grandmother, “Grammy”; paternal grandfather, “Pappa Raymond”; paternal grandmother, Phyllis Napper; grandpa, Donaway Coleman; great-grandma, Kate Brown; great-grandpa, Johnny Brown; great-grandma, Marie Simpson; great-aunts: Linda Brunton and Ortha Coleman; great-uncles: Ervin and Marvin Coleman; a special friend, Miranda Harper; and cousins: Marybeth Brown and Michael Brown.
Funeral services will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson on Saturday, Feb. 14, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at the C.M. Cemetery in Oak Hill. Family will receive friends on Friday, Feb. 13, from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, Feb. 14 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
