James F. Phillips, age 89, of Sebring, Ohio, passed away May 18, 2013. He was born December 10, 1923, in Wellston, Ohio to Frank and Belva (Jones) Phillips.
James was a graduate of Wellston High School in 1941, and was employed by Alliance Manufacturing as an inspector until his retirement. A U.S. Army veteran, he received the Bronze Star at the Battle of the Bulge.
Survivors include a nephew, James Newman; niece, Shelly Richardson; several great-nieces, great-nephews and best friend, Jim Richards.
Services were held May 22, 2013, and interment was at Salem Greenlawn Cemetery.
