Glenna (Sue) Haning, age 71, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at her residence. Sue was born at her home on Sardis Ridge on August 11, 1941 in Oak Hill, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Franklin and Helen K. Evans; and one brother, Billy Keith Evans.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Terry Lee; one son, Eric (Charlene Ewing – Jerry III, Megan and Jamie Ireland) Haning of Jackson; one daughter, Lora (Steve) Gilliland of Jackson; two sisters, Imogene Crabtree of Jackson, and Roberta (Kenny) Arbaugh of Groveport; three brothers, Jack (Fern) Evans of Jackson, Gary (Barb) Evans of Jackson, and Leland Evans of Oak Hill; three grandchildren, Jerod (Christy) Haning, Adrianna Haning, and Audrey Haning; and two great-grandchildren, Piper Richison and Allie Kuhner.
Sue was a retired 31-1/2-year employee of Kroger. She loved cooking, watching birds, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was an amazing lady with a heart of gold and loved by all who knew her.
Friends may call at the Mayhew Brown Funeral Home Saturday, April 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m., where funeral services will be held Sunday, April 14 at 2 p.m. with Janie Karl officiating.
