Larry A. Loudner, 81, of Wellston, went home with his Lord on Friday morning, September 14, 2012, at Huston Nursing Home. He was born on October 28, 1930, in Wellston, son of the late Albert and Margaret Jonas Loudner. He was a 1949 graduate of Wellston High School and a four-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he served with the Atomic Energy Commission testing group. He retired as the Wellston Postmaster following 33 years of service with the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of the Hope United Methodist Church.
Surviving is his wife of 59 years, Janet Wilbur Loudner; a daughter, Pam Riley (Ken Triplett) of Wellston; two grandsons, Nathan (Shannon) Riley and Seth Riley, of Wellston; two great-grandchildren, McKinley Paige Riley and Landen Ryan Riley, of Wellston; and an aunt, Virginia Dobbins, of Coshocton, Ohio.
Friends may call at the Jenkins Funeral Chapel in Wellston on Sunday, Sept. 23, from 6 until 8 p.m. Services will be Monday, Sept. 24 at 11 a.m. at the Jenkins Chapel with Pastor Jim Eberts officiating.
Larry’s final place of rest will be the Ridgewood Cemetery in Wellston.
