Jack Waldon Keller, age 85, passed away on May 15, 2012. He was born in Cove, Ohio on August 18, 1926. He was the 7th son of a 7th son, and the last son born of 11 children. He was preceded in death by his parents, George O. Keller, and Anna M. (Broyles) Keller; and his brothers, Millard, George, John, Brian, Dan, and twin brother Pat; and his sisters, Connie Pyle, Faye Spohn, and Anndell Abherve, and Carol Arthur.
He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife of 64 years, Phyllis (Tootie) Riggle Keller; his sister, Susie Eisnaugle; his sons, Gary (Robin) Keller and Steve (Kathy) Keller; grandsons, Brian, Brenton and Eric; granddaughter, Annalynn, and extended family, Stephanie, Amy and Melinda. He also leaves many nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Jack retired after 35 years of service as sales representative with Metropolitan Life Insurance. During those years he was always the leading agent in his district, and one year the leading Metropolitan agent in the nation. He received various awards and honors, including a 1969 Mustang.
He was a very devoted father and husband. After he retired he enjoyed playing golf, playing cards, talking about his Ford Focus, and mowing his grass (often).
Jack was a veteran of WW II, serving in the Army Air Corps in the Asian Pacific. He was a lifetime member of the local Elks and American Legion.
Funeral arrangements are with the Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home. Viewing hours were set for Friday, May 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be at the same location at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 19.
