Helen Rose Wilson, age 82, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Abbyshire Place in Bidwell, Ohio. She was born in Jackson County, Ohio on April 11, 1939, to the late Harry and Marie (Colvin) Hill.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Hill. She is survived by her husband, Joseph M. Wilson; and her children: Cathy Bentley, Crystal (Wes) Quesenberry, Paul (Arlene) Gillum, Cheryl Clark, Leca Joyce, and Larry (Angel) Gillum; sisters: Wilma Causey, Wanda Harshberger, and Sharon Blevins; and brothers: Jimmy Hill and Richard Hill. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Helen loved playing the piano at Oakland Holiness Church and Wellston Church of God. Helen loved spending time with her family and friends. She also loved gardening and flowers.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m., with Pastor Barry Benson officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Coalton.
