Frances Marie Sharp, age 74, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022, at OSU Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born May 11, 1948, in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Arthur Ray Simpson and Flora Bell Napier.
She is survived by her son, Jerry (Lisa) Logan; daughter, Trina Logan; siblings: Robert Simpson, Greg Simpson, Rod Simpson, Marilyn Logan, Marg Frasure, Chris Carr, and Janet Mackynen; grandchildren: Brittany (John) Carper, Kylie Logan, Adrianna (Levi) Rosenberger, Adam Logan-Hughes; great-grandchildren: Mckenlee Carper, Hadlee Carper, Knoxlee Carper, Logan Rosenberger and Oaklynn Logan-Hughes; as well as several nieces and nephews and family from her husband’s side. Besides her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Sharp; sisters: Leona Rose and Barb Blevins; brothers: Reed Nantz and Barney Simpson; and oldest son, James Logan.
Frances retired from General Mills, where she spent 14 years. After retirement, she liked spending her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, playing bingo and watching her favorite team, the Cincinnati Reds.
