Janet Snyder

Janet Louise Snyder, age 81, of Oak Hill, Ohio went to walk with the Lord on January 19th, 2022. She was eagerly welcomed home by her husband of 61 years, Wilbur “Harlan” Snyder. Janet was a graduate of South Webster High School.

She is survived by her daughters: Debi (Tim) Saylor and Diana Snyder; siblings: Gene (Pam) Coburn, Opal (Estel) Lahrmer and Brenda (Ralph) Young; grandchildren: Heather (Don) Wihl, Mike Miller, Doug (Sharon) Miller and Megan (Chuck) Mielke; and great-grandchildren: Noah (Kenzee) Aponte, Ashley Wihl, Sean Miller, Mya Mielke, Rylei Wihl, Kyleigh Miller, Aubree Miller and Brentley Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents: Chester and Oma Coburn; and her siblings: Kenneth Coburn, Irene Edwards, Roger Coburn and Ronnie Coburn.  

Janet was a devoted woman of God, avid quilter and well-known for her homemade noodles and pumpkin rolls. She was a school bus driver for approximately 20 years with Southwestern City Schools. She will be missed dearly by her family, church community, friends and all those who knew her.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1 p.m. with Rev.
