Sabrena Maria Tilley Denny, age 48, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born December 8, 1973, in Gallipolis, Ohio to Gary W. Tilley and Martha L. Buckley Tilley. Sabrena was a 1993 graduate of Wellston High School and later received an Associate’s Degree in Arts from the University of Rio Grande. She was employed by the Jackson City Schools, where she was a paraprofessional for several years. Sabrena loved the Lord and had a strong Christian faith that she shared with everyone. She loved to be in church and was a member of Roads Missionary Baptist Church. Sabrena was kindhearted and was always looking after and taking care of others. She loved to spend time with her kids, her dog Wrangler, and her friends from work. Sabrena loved to bake with her daughter, watch her son play football, and take long walks with her husband. She enjoyed family vacations at the beach as well as being a part of the Jackson Ironmen Mother’s Club.

Sabrena is survived by her parents: Gary and Martha Tilley of Jackson; her husband of 20 years, Mark Anthony “Tony” Denny; children: Syeira Nicoal Denny and Mark Anthony “AJ” Denny, both of Jackson; sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Kenneth “Lee” Peoples and their daughters: Skyler and Hannah, all of Jackson; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Calling hours will be Sunday, January 23, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. A Celebration of Life service will follow the calling hours at 3 p.m. with Pastor Tim Jones officiating. For those that are attending, the family requests that a mask be worn. In keeping with Sabrena’s wishes, cremation will follow the service and burial will be at the convenience of the family in Salem Cemetery.
