Terry Lee Finn

Terry Lee Finn, age 71, of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2020, at his residence.  He was born June 25, 1949 in Wellston, Ohio to the late Myron Chadwick Finn and Norma Faye Bishop Finn. 

Terry was a 1967 graduate of Wellston High School and a Veteran of the United States Army, who served during Vietnam.  He retired from the V.F.W. Post 9092 in Wellston.  Terry was a Michigan Wolverines fan who enjoyed hunting mushrooms, playing Santa Claus and socializing with his family and many friends.  He was a member of the V.F.W. Posts 9092, American Legion Post 371 and the military service honor guard. 

Terry is survived by his daughters, Tammy Coy (Carl), Christal Sharp (John) and Terri Jo Davis (Keith), all of Jackson; grandchildren, Shell Woods, Joseph Woods, Ashley Vannatter (Tim), Jessica Coy, James Coy, Sarah Davis and Alyssa Sharp; great-grandsons, Leeland Woods and William Woods; sister, Connie Deans (Clarence) of North Carolina; former wife and friend, Brenda Sorrell Finn Patrick of Waterloo; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Chaddy Finn; mother and step-father, Norma Faye Hughes and Joseph Hughes; and his son, Michael “Mickey” Finn. 

In keeping with Terry’s wishes, his body was cremated.  Graveside service, with military honors, will be held Sunday, Aug. 16, 2020, at 1 p.m. at Ridgewood Cemetery in Wellston.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.
