Ronald “Ronnie” Paul Clagg Jr., age 36, died at his residence on June 14, 2018. He was born April 17, 1982 in Portsmouth. He graduated from Oak Hill High School in 2000 and then worked as a logger for Lee Saylor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family. Ronnie loved his “fur babies” Jackson and Nappy.
He is survived by his father, Ronald (Betsy) Clagg and mother, Helen (Tom) Boroff; sisters, Shawna (John) Blackford, Amanda (Jeff) Nichols and Kimberly Clagg; nephews, Jonathon (Alexis) Clagg, Brandon Clagg and Blake Clagg; nieces, Allie (James) Trace, Brittany Clagg and Autumn Cochran. Also surviving are his paternal step grandma, Helen Shultz and several aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by paternal step grandpa, Orville Shultz; paternal grandparents, Calvin and Darlene Clagg; maternal grandparents, Luther and Virginia McKenzie; niece, Ashley Clarke and nephew, Jayden Trace.
Friends may call Monday, June 18, 2018 from 4-8 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Fred Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow in Horeb Cemetery.
