Carol Sharon Landrum

Carol Sharon Landrum, age 72, of Jackson, passed away June 15, 2018 at her home in Jackson after a brief struggle with cancer. Carol was born January 7, 1947 in Mud-Soc, Ohio to the late Harry and Osa (Dulaney) Folden.

Carol thoroughly enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with her family.

In 1964 Carol married the love of her life, William D. Landrum and resided in Jackson where he built her their own home on Price Switch Rd. They were married for 49 years before he passed away from cancer on August 17, 2013. They raised two children, Lisa Lynn (Mark) Garvey and William Douglas Landrum II. She had eight grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she adored.

In addition to her children, Lisa and William, she is survived by eight grandchildren: Kayla and Jay Groh, Justin Landrum, Josie Garvey (Casey Brandau), LaDoska Garvey (Wes Evans), Jerico Garvey, Trevon Landrum, Zander Landrum, and Kyson Landrum and great-grandchildren, JaShaelyn Garvey-Curtis and Rowan Garvey-Bowling and Gracie and Savannah Evans; her brothers and sisters, Thelma Boswell, Ross (Mary) Folden, Ray (Sharon) Folden, Judy Folden-Whalen, and Joy (Jim) Hale and her beloved dog, “Winky”. Also surviving are her beloved nieces and nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Gene and Marvin Folden.

Friends may call Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral of Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Butch Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Landrum Family Cemetery.
