Norma J. Highfield, age 72 of Jackson, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Heartland of Jackson. She was born in Jackson on October 15, 1945 to the late John Henry Hardin and Gladys (Aldridge) Hardin. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Highfield and a brother, Earl Hardin.
She is survived by her daughter, Colleen Caldwell; grandson, Andrew Esquilin; sisters Ida Keller and Jane Reed, along with many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all.
Norma loved playing the piano and organ, giving lessons to many people over the years. She also enjoyed playing cards, working puzzles, arts & crafts and crocheting.
Graveside services will be held at the Aldridge Family Cemetery, State Route 522, just west of Route 93, Pedro, Ohio on Friday, June 15 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Derek Stump officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson.
