Patricia L. Rankin, age 44, of Jackson, passed away at her residence on Thursday, September 29, 2016. She was born in South Carolina on July 22, 1972 to the late Raymond Russell Rankin and Winifred (Halterman) Rankin.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Rick Feltner, and three sisters: Ramona Hill, Kathleen Altherr and Cathi Escamilla.
She is survived by a son, Wesley Rankin; daughter, Deanna Rankin; a special daughter, Jamie Ireland; brothers: Rusty Rankin of Coalton and Robert Feltner of New Jersey; sisters: Dana Boggs of Jackson and Karen Humphries of Panama City, Florida; and a granddaughter, Renesme Rankin.
Also surviving are a special niece, Robin Travis, and very special friends: Stacy Scarberry, Michelle Schuler Burns, Cindy Hill, Bryan Waugh, Sue Dotson and Mike Wells.
Patricia was a mother of two, and a stay-at-home mom.
Her family would like to extend a very special thanks to the Hospice care-givers: Amanda, Erica, Monica and Terri.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home, with Rev. Jack Hughes officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service, from 2 to 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home to help with Patricia’s funeral expenses.
