Aleigha Marie Hayes, age 5, of Wellston, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born January 25, 2011 in Chillicothe, Ohio. Aleigha enjoyed reading and loved playing with her My Little Pony toys and her brother and sister.
She is survived by her mother, Meagan Davis of Wellston; father, Joshua Hayes of Londonderry; brother, Josten; sister, Maelee; maternal grandparents, Errol Davis of Wellston and Sandie Park Davis of Wellston; paternal grandparents, Ron and Karen Skaggs Hayes of Londonderry; great-grandfather, Earl Keith Davis of Wellston; great-grandmother, Carolyn Park of Columbus, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins, including special aunts, Tasha Davis and Brandie Davis.
Aleigha was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Evelyn Davis; great-grandfather, Orvel Park; and great-aunt, Donna Jean Buzzard.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Clingan and Pastor Eddie Park officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery.
