Roberta Ellison

Roberta Ellison, age 99 of Jackson, passed away in peace on May 12th in Battle Creek, Michigan with her family by her side. She was born October 2nd, 1915 in Jackson, the daughter of Luther and Emma (McGhee) Miller.

Roberta was a 1930 Graduate of Jackson High School and a former employee of Dell Atwater Photography and later in life enjoyed selling antiques including collecting buttons and reading poems. She had many friends that she thought dearly of but most of all had her love for the Lord and her Church. She attended the Jackson Christian Church in Jackson for many years.

Roberta is survived by her son Jay (Janet) Ellison of Battle Creek, Michigan; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband Ed Ellison and her son Larry Ellison; and her 2 brothers, Avery and Adryon Miller; 3 sisters, Helen Crabtree, Lucille Baker, and Ernestine Gettles.

At her request a cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at Jackson Christian Church at a later time.
