Charles F. Linton, Sr., age 79, of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015, at the Woodside Village Care Center in Mt. Gilead, Ohio. He was born in Jackson, Ohio on November 29, 1935 to the late Clarence F. Linton and Marie (Duhl) Linton.
He was a concrete worker for most of his life. He loved nature and riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Gross) Linton; sons: Charles (Phyllis) Linton, Jr., Randal (Cindy) Linton, Faron Linton, Patricia (Carl) Drumm, John Clark, Jr., George Clark, Aric (Shawna) Clark and Lysia Bradley. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends will be received at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home Monday, April 13, from noon to 2 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. with Pastor Matt Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
