Dale Wickline

Dale Wickline, age 89, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 5, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on March 24, 1926 in Fayette County, Ohio to the late Watson and Mae (Fout) Wickline.

Dale enjoyed growing up on a beautiful farm in Beaver, Ohio and was happy to have spent his childhood there. He was a WW II Army Veteran, member of the Christ United Methodist Church, 50-year member of Trowel Lodge #132 F.&A.M. of Jackson, and a long-time member of Fairgreens Country Club. He retired working as a Supervisor from the Goodyear Atomic Plant after 41 years and earned a spot in the Top 10 Club. He was a jack-of-all-trades and enjoyed restoring his 1946 Ford truck and working in the yard. He especially enjoyed spending time with his good neighbors and extended family.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Rowe Wickline; son, Brent (Joni) Wickline and their children, Max, Morgan, Marisa and Maddi; daughter, Sherri (Mat) Mauger and their children, Jacob and Abigail; and daughter, Nanette Wickline. He is also survived by his brother, Wayne (Sandra) Wickline of South Charleston, Ohio; sister-in-law, Mary Lee Wickline; special cousin, Margaret Clark; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor David Roach and Diaconal minister Janie Karl officiating with burial to follow in the Fairmount Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 3 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Masonic services being held at 7:30 p.m. by the Trowel Lodge #132 F.&A.M.
