Brenda L. Denuit, age 56, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 7, 2014. She was born on June 24, 1957 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late John and Mabel (Snyder) Bowens.
Brenda was a member of the Old Country Church Tabernacle and loved her Lord. She was loved by all who knew her and never met a stranger.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Breah and Shannon Briggs. She was a very loving and caring mother and will be greatly missed. Also surviving are her sisters, Freda Bauma and Sharon Dillard of Columbus, Ohio, Betty Comer and Barbara Comer of Minford, Ohio, Bonnie Ohmann of Apple Valley, Minnesota, Lois Howell, Linda Shaner, and Nancy Jenkins all of Oak Hill, Ohio; two brothers, Stanley Bowens of Obetz, Ohio and John R. Bowens of Oak Hill, Ohio.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents is her husband, James R. Denuit; two sisters, Shirley Walker and Carol Jean Montes.
A funeral service will be held at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill, on Saturday, May 10, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Bryan Carman officiating. Burial will follow at Horeb Cemetery.
