Nora (Kuhn) Crabtree, age 97, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 at Holzer of Jackson. She was born in Jackson County on February 27, 1916 to the late Charles and Elizabeth (Jenkins) Kuhn. She was employed by R.J. Reynolds from which she retired.
She is survived by sons, Harry (Janet) Crabtree Jr. of Jackson, Ohio, Roger D. (Ivy) Crabtree of Jackson, Ohio, Bobby (Tracy) Crabtree of Springfield, and Gary Crabtree of Jackson, Ohio; daughter, Rita (Robert) Enders of Langhorne, Pennsylvania; brothers, L. Robert Kuhn of Minford, Ohio, Guy (Virginia) Kuhn of Oak Hill, Ohio; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband, Harry C. Crabtree; brothers, Willard Kuhn, Charles Kuhn Sr., and Vera Kuhn; sisters, Marie Williams, Arva Clark, Ethel McCain, and Hazel Lambert; and a grandson, Wade Crabtree.
A funeral service will be held at Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson, Ohio on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jack Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Horeb Cemetery.
