Joyce Bocook, age 72, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013. She was born February 28, 1941 in Maple Summit, Pennsylvania to the late Clemeta and Catherine Miller Burnsworth.
She is survived by her son, Dale Pelt; daughters, Carol Bocook and Rebecca (Charles) Swisher; sisters, Delores Wenger, Barbara Chandler and Claudine Kemp; five grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Melissa Bocook; brothers, Wilbur, Claton and Jackie, and sisters, Ethel Eversole and Carol Hicks.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2013 with Pastor Tim Jones officiating and burial to follow in the Fairmount Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 11 a.m. up to the time of the service. Condolences can be sent to www.mayhewbrownfuneralhome.com.
