Scott David Arrowood, age 44, of Oak Hill passed away on Monday, August 12, 2013 at SOMC. He was born in Gallipolis, OH on July 8, 1969 to Henry David Arrowood and Linda Lou (Taylor) Arrowood of Oak Hill, OH both of whom survive.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Ben and Merle (Duvall) Arrowood, also of Oak Hill and maternal grandparents, Albert C. & Virginia R. (Oiler) Taylor of Gallia, OH.
Scott is survived by his parents; two sisters, Stacey L. (Will) Haislop and Missy A. Adkins; and fiancé, Marion Coon, both of Jackson, OH; two nephews, Luke and Zach Haislop and a great-niece, Kylar Green; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Scott was a 1988 graduate of Southwestern High School. He attended J-Vac of Wellston for several years, all the while enjoying his work there. He loved people, fishing, the Cleveland Browns, and life in general. Those who knew him well say his ornery smile was the most beautiful smile on earth.
Funeral services for Scott Arrowood will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill, OH. Calling hours will be Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will follow in Arrowood Family Cemetery in Oak Hill, OH.
