Milan L. Fain, Sr.

Milan L. Fain, Sr., age 56, of Gallipolis, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 25, 2013, from injuries received in a farming accident at his residence.

He was born December 8, 1956 in Wellston, Ohio to Ralph and Pauline Knox Fain.

Milan was a loving son, brother, dad and papaw; a Jack of all trades and a master of none. He attended the Pentecostal Holiness House of Prayer in Wellston.

Milan is survived by his mother, Pauline Fain of Rodney; daughters, Mila Michelle Fain Rife (Roy “Shane”) of McArthur and Jalyn Anna Fain Prater (Dean) of Dundas; son, Milan L. Fain, Jr. of Gallipolis; grandchildren, Brady Rife, his only precious granddaughter, Kaitlynn Rife, Shane Rife, Sebastian Rife, Isaac Milan Fain, Briggs Prater and Urijah Prater; loving mother of his children and lifelong friend, Jodi McClellan Fain of McArthur; sister, Jean “Sis” Fain Sandlin (Robert) of Rodney; brother, Gary Sowers (Nancy) of Columbus, as well as several aunts, nieces nephews, cousins and friends, including close friend, Billy Stewart. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Fain, and his brothers, Dwaine Fain, Bill Sowers and Eldon “Junior” Sowers.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 8 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.

Funeral services will be Monday at 1 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamden Cemetery.
