Pauline Patterson

Pauline Patterson, age 84, of Ray, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at he Maple Hills Nursing Facility in McArthur.

She was born January 22, 1929 in Lancaster, Ohio, to the late Rondel and Margaret Lefler Wright. Pauline was a graduate of the Richland Rural High School in Allensville. She was a former cosmetologist and was also employed with General Electric from where she retired with 25 years of service.

Following her retirement, Pauline worked as an aide in several area nursing facilities. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union and the Gold Star Mothers. Pauline is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Larry Radabaugh of Ray; grandchildren, Bryan (Vivian) Radabaugh, Jason (Gretchen) Radabaugh, Todd (Donella) Radabaugh and Lisa (Ronnie) White, and great-grandchildren, Bailey Kittle, Brett, Blake, Madison, Hannah, Darian, McKenzie, Zach and Eli Radabaugh, and Scout White.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by Clyde and Ethel Stuck, by whom she was raised; her husband of 62 years, Rev. James T. Patterson, in 2009, and her son, Sgt. Keith A. Patterson, killed in action October 13, 1969 in Vietnam. At Pauline’s request, there will be no public calling hours observed. Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2 P.M. at the Elk Cemetery in McArthur under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home.
