Edward Patton

Edward Patton, age 80, of Wilkesville, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013, at the Holzer Medical Center ER in Jackson. He was born March 19, 1933 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Caro and Dolly Hicks Patton. Edward was a farmer and he formerly attended the Puritan Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors and playing his guitar.

Edward is survived by brothers, Frank Patton (Eulah) of Wellston and Carson Patton (Margot) of Newport News, Va.; sisters, Louise Georgapoulos of Hobart, Indiana and Faye Boyer (Lawrence) of Hamden, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Archie Patton, Amburst Patton, Arnold Patton, Matthew Patton, Shirley Williams, Audrey Patton, Elouise Moreno, Arlena Teniorio, Ishmael Patton and Virgie Patton.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
