Geneva Eggers, 90, of Jackson, died Thursday, June 21 at her residence. She was born January 24, 1922 in Jackson County.
Geneva survived by her son Ira E. Eggers, Jr. of Oak Hill, daughter Sharon Lee (Mateo) Bartolome of Coalton, grandchildren, Robin Ingels, Cheryl Roe, Marsha Walters, and Joseph Eggers, and great grandchildren, Brittany and David Ireland and Katlyn Walters;
In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by husband, Ira “Art” Eggers, one daughter, Sandra Leach, and three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 24, at 1 p.m. at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home ( formerly Eisnaugle-Lewis Home). Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memory Garden.
Friends may call 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday June 23, at the funeral home.
