John R. Snyder, age 56, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away unexpectedly June 19, 2012. He was born May 18, 1956 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Marvin and Mae Snyder. John was married to Vicki McCorkle on October 3, 1987.
He was a graduate of Oak Hill High School and enjoyed fishing, friends, driving truck and the love of his life, his 6 grandsons.
He is survived by his wife of 25 yrs., Vicki (McCorkle) Snyder, daughter, Andrea (Chad) McCain of Oak Hill, son, Brad (Gena) Burns of Circleville, grandsons, Kyle McGinnis, Logan, Dylan, and Nicholas Burns all of Circleville, Reid and Brady McCain of Oak Hill as well as two brothers, Randy (Linda) Faye and Scott Snyder both of Oak Hill, cousins, nephews and nieces.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers, Marvin Charles (Chuck) and Thomas Snyder and sister-in-law, Roberta (Bobbie) Snyder.
Friends may call at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home (formerly Kuhner-Lewis Funeral Home) on June 22, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m.
Services will be held Saturday June 23, 2012 at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. burial to follow in Horeb Cemetery.
