Jerry Baisden, 67, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012, at the Adena Regional Medical Center. The son of the late Wayne and Arizona Ambergy Baisden, he was born July 21, 1945, in Mingo County, West Virginia. Jerry had worked many years in construction as a mason. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his daughter, Jerri Janette Baisden of Jackson; brothers, Irvin of Coalton and Bennie (Jane) of Wellston; sister-in-law, Elsie; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and his good friend, Cindy Baisden.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Minor; and his sister, Shirley Kisor.
Friends will gather Sunday at the Huntley & Cremeens Funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1 p.m. with burial to follow in the Baisden Family Cemetery near Glen Roy. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Huntley & Cremeens Funeral Home of Wellston.
