Noreena Lynn Henry, age 63, of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, September 9 at the Ayden Healthcare Center. She was born in Huntington, West Virginia on January 6, 1958, to Patricia (Staley) Howerton and the late Norman Maynard.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 38 years, Bill Henry; daughters: Brandae Rouse and Brittny (Chad) Knittel; five grandchildren: Hannah, Emily and Troy Rouse and Kennedy and Cameron Knittel; and her siblings: Tom (Deanne) Maynard and Debbie (Chuck) Meadows.
Noreena loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a former substitute teacher for the Jackson City Schools and loved cheering for the Ironmen. She was a huge sports fan and loved the Browns, Reds and Buckeyes. Noreena was also the 1976 Apple Festival Queen.
A memorial service will be held at the Grace United Methodist Church on Sunday, September 19 at 4 p.m. Funeral arrangements are by the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mayhew-brownfuneralhome.com
