David Dwight Lambert, age 68, of Jackson passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at home, surrounded by love. He was born November 1, 1952 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Wilma Jean Rasp Lambert and the late Arthur Lambert.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Brenda Ackerman Lambert; brothers: Larry (Barb) Lambert and Barry (Jo) Lambert; children: David (Amber) Lambert, Amy (Mander) Isaac, Daniel Smith, Amber (Tim) Johnson, Zach (Sara) Lambert, and Aerics Rowe; grandchildren: Christina Isaac (Zachery Ferguson), Sarah Isaac, Austin Hoops (Britinie Johnson), Justin Rowe, Jonny Rowe, Eric Rowe, Kaitlynn Hollingshead, Keanu Jordan, Demetrius Smith, Colin Lambert, Natallie Lambert, Jace Lambert, Caroline Thompson, Bree Lambert, Ava Lambert, Brandon Lambert, and Brittany Lambert; great-grandchildren: Evelynn, Adrian, Octavia, and a new great-grandchild coming soon. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Davis was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, his father; daughter, Kelli Lambert, brother, Mike Lambert; son, Roger Rowe; and three baby grandchildren: Mathew Isaac, Joseph Isaac and Jennifer Isaac.
He loved being at his camper and fishing for catfish, and being on his boat, but most of all, in his later years, he loved Jesus.
He was a loving and devoted faithful husband to Brenda for 28 years. He worked for Waterloo Coal Company prior to taking a medical retirement in 1997.
He will be missed terribly. The family would like to give a special thanks to Holzer Hospice and all the kind medical suppliers that delivered medical supplies to them.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Barlow officiating and burial to follow in the Fairmount Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
