Glenna M. (Winston) Figgins, age 92, of Blackfork, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018 at Adena Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was born Aug. 13, 1926 in Rio Grande, Ohio to the late Elmer and Helen (Shaffer) Winston.
Glenna married the late Ivan Figgins on May 10, 1946. She is survived by her children, Stephen (Ella) Figgins, of Oak Hill, Barbara Lansford, of Chillicothe and Jackie Figgins, of Gallipolis, with whom she made her home; two sisters, Betty Meachem, of Cincinnati and Diana Yovan, of Columbus; five grandchildren, Thomas (Tina) Figgins, Jordan (Ryan) Easton, Mia Lansford (Matt Heater), Grace Rogers (Kyle Coates) and Garrett Rogers (Allie Johnson); and six great-grandchildren, Jared, Moriah, Emma and Brayden Figgins, and James and Linnea Easton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan; son, Marshall Figgins; daughter-in-law, Lillian Figgins; seven brothers, Warren, Clarence, David, John, Harold, Gerald and Robert; and two sisters, Virginia and her twin sister, Gladys.
Friends may call Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Union Baptist Church in Blackfork, Ohio. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Wayne McLaughlin officiating.
