Juanita Marie Delaney, age 75, formerly of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017 at her home in Jamestown, Ohio. She was born Oct. 22, 1941 in Jackson, Ohio, the daughter of the late Clifford Stephenson and Gladys Donaldson Stephenson.
Juanita was a graduate of Bellefontaine High School and the Hocking Tech School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse who enjoyed knitting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Nichols, Jr. (Rose) of Wellston, Connie Edgington of Columbus, Toni Jarvis of Columbus, Tim Nichols (Brenda) of Jamestown, John Delaney (Danielle) of Columbus and Timothy Nichols of Columbus; sisters, Carol Gallion (Hager) of Columbus and Janice Caldwell of Tampa, Fla., as well as 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Allen Nichols; brother, David Stephenson; and sister, Lula Johnson.
