Mary Ann Ewald, 84, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016, after a lengthy illness. She was born on October 29, 1931, in Catlettsburg, Kentucky, to Dallas Laneer Rummager and Elma Starks Rummager. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Susan Starks Rummager and husband, Gerald Lagesen Ewald. She is survived by her daughter, Luanne Ewald Blaylock (Len), and her granddaughter Susan Ann Veasey-McGrath (Kelly) and a great number of extended family and friends.
She grew up in Jackson, Ohio, and studied Fashion Art Design in Cincinnati and spent most of her life in Dallas and Plano, TX. She was a Realtor and worked for Weyerhaeuser and Centennial Homes, winning numerous sales awards including Salesperson of the year for Dallas, Texas area. She was a Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Member and a woman who loved this great country. She was a truly wonderful lady who gave her love, time and care to others. She was creative, funny and smart and adored animals and nature. She was the best wife, mom, granny and friend ever and will be sorely missed.
A memorial service will be held September 25th at 3 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Little Rock, 1101 North Mississippi, Little Rock with Steven Bell officiating. Memorials can be made to Pulaski Co. Humane Society, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72210.
