Ernest L. Yinger, age 93, of Jackson went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 4, 2016. He was born September 22, 1922 in Jackson, to the late Walter and Josie (Henderson) Yinger.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Helen “Terry” Yinger, one brother, Delmer Yinger, two sons-in-law and one grandson.
He is survived by 5 children, Walter, Jane, Terry, Larry and Peggy and special daughter, Jeanie Lloyd; two sisters, Mable Maloney and Molly Donaldson. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
He was a member of Buckeye Community Church for more than a half century. He was a retired farmer and school bus driver as well as a United States Army Veteran. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson with Pastor Allie Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow in Buckeye Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
