Kenneth L. Kasee, age 81, of Wellston, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the Holzer Medical Center – Jackson. He was born on September 20, 1934 in Jackson County to the late Earl and Josephine (Lambert) Kasee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene, in 2011; two sisters: Nancy Wells and Roxabel Musick; and an infant brother, Vernon Kasee. Surviving are a sister, Pearl Lola Clark of Kenova, West Virginia; a niece, Dawn (Merrill) Lanning; and a nephew, Mark Musick.
Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the engine room and as a flight engineer aboard the USS Philippine One during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 19, at the Evergreen Cemetery, with Pastor Dobie Wyant officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral home in Jackson.
