Douglas “Doug” Harris, age 59, of Oak Hill, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Edgewood Manor of Wellston. He was born October 24, 1956 in Oak Hill to the late John and Virginia (Hutchinson) Harris.
Doug is survived by nephew, Jeremy (Tammy) Sharp, of Oak Hill; and niece, Mandy Sharp, of Washington. Special friends include Travis Camp (Becca Matthews), Tina Hammonds (Scott Roberts), Kimberly (Matthew) and Jasmine Stiles and Tonya (Todd) Rowland, as well as many other co-workers and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Diana Hammonds.
He worked for many years at both Holzer Hospital in Gallipolis and Luigino’s in Jackson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ray Perry officiating. Burial will follow in C.M. Cemetery.
