Janice K. “Jan” Frisby, age 87, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at the Holzer Senior Care Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. She was born June 3, 1928 in Garfield, Ohio, daughter of the late Albert and Mildred Raynor Reed.
Jan was a former employee of the Jolly Lanes Bowling Alley in Jackson, and was also a waitress at several area restaurants, having retired from Pizza Hut in Jackson following ten years of service.
She is survived by her children, Connie McGhee of Florida, Trudie Frisby of Rio Grande, Randy Frisby of Oak Hill and Gregory Frisby (Pam) of Oak Hill; sisters, Peggy Miller of Wellston and Lynn Mapes of Jackson, as well as 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Jan was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Frisby; granddaughter, Debra Frisby; great-grandson, Wyatt; and her brother, Bobby Reed.
Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Rev.
