Janet A. Fannin, age 45, of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on May 28, 1970 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Joe Goheen and Elma (Cook) Goheen, who survive.
Beside her parents, Janet is survived by her husband, James Fannin; two sons: Kevin and Kyle Fannin, and one brother, Wade Goheen. Also surviving is a very close and large extended family.
Janet was very proud of her sons, with Kevin graduating from the University of Rio Grande and Kyle presently attending there. Her priority in life was looking after her mother and father. She also loved her pets, “Molly” and “Jake”, friends and family, flowers and crafts.
Funeral services will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 2 p.m., with Pastor Jerry Holman officiating. Burial will follow at Coalton Cemetery, in Coalton. Friends will be received at the funeral home 2 hours prior to the service, from 12 p.m. (noon) to 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Janet Goheen Fannin Memorial Fund, at any of the Milton Bank locations, to help offset funeral expenses.
