Rickey J. “Rick” Brady, age 53, of Glen Roy, passed away unexpectedly Sunday evening, July 5, 2015 at his home. He was born December 8, 1961 in Wellston, Ohio, the son of the late Wilbur C. Brady and Lidora Frances Viers Brady.
Rick was a former truck driver for Gem Bottling Company and Budweiser, and was also a former guard for Pillsbury. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hunting for mushrooms and ginseng. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Gill Brady; daughter, Emily Brady of Glen Roy; son, Patrick Brady of Jackson; step-daughter, Stephanie Copper (Aaron) of Chillicothe; grandson, Kaliup Levi Brady; brothers, Gary Brady of Columbus and Raney Brady (Janet) of McArthur, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Rick was preceded in death by brothers, Charles “Jitters” Brady, Bill Brady, Emory Brady and Bob Brady, and sisters, Kaye Perry, Phyllis Brady, Allie Pohto and infants, Jackie and Donna.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home, with Pastor Jerry Eaton officiating. Burial will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery.
