Richard “Ricky” W. Cartwright II, age 21 of Wellston passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015. He was born September 8, 1993 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Richard W. Cartwright I and Annette Brigner. His father Richard W. Cartwright; a brother, Raymond Remy; stepmother, Sharon Cartwright and a stepbrother, Jeremy Goheen, survive him. Grandparents also survive him: Rodney and Kristina Cartwright, Rebecca Cartwright and Jim Isreal and Herb Maxwell. A grandmother, Sue Maxwell, preceded him in death.
Ricky loved to hunt, fish, go 4-wheeling, spending time with his friends and worked hard every day.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2015 at Tick Ridge Church with Pastor Butch Cooper officiating. Friends and family will be received at the church on Sunday, March 15 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and 2 hours prior to the funeral service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
