Kenneth Bledsoe, age 60, of Ray, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014, at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born April 26, 1954 in McArthur, Ohio to the late Denby and Minnie Opal Baker Bledsoe.
Kenny was a 1973 graduate of Vinton County High School. He was a former employee of the Vinton County Highway Department and he loved farming. Kenny enjoyed attending several local churches and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Pelfrey Bledsoe; children, Adam Wayne Bledsoe (Joanie) of Ray, and Kendra Ward (Gabriel) of Allensville; grandchildren, Hannah and Chase Bledsoe and Cheyenne and Bowen Ward; brothers, Barry Bledsoe (Carolyn) of Londonderry, Bob Bledsoe (Kathleen) of Ray, Mike Bledsoe (Karen) of McArthur, Keith Bledsoe (Norma) of Ray, David Bledsoe (Linda) of Ray, Denby Bledsoe (Theresa) of Ray, and Kevin Bledsoe (Carrie) of Ray; sister, Linda Johnston (Mark) of McArthur, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by sister-in-laws, Debbie Bledsoe and Vikki Bledsoe.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, December 20, 2014, at the Waldron-Bledsoe Cemetery with Pastor Phil DeMint officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions in Kenny’s name be given to a church of one’s choice.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.
