Willis E. Norton, 72, of Radcliff, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at the Jenkins Care Community in Wellston. He was born November 4, 1942, in Radcliff, to the late Harry Norton and Ruth Zinn Norton. Willis was a 1960 graduate of Wilkesville High School. He retired from Frick-Gallagher Manufacturing in Wellston, where he was employed for over 35 years. Willis was a member of the United Fellowship Chapel in Radcliff and he enjoyed woodworking and camping.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Geraldine Perdue Norton; children, Angie Jones (Davey) of Radcliff, Cathy Adkins (Ray) of Hamlin, W.Va., Penny McLaughlin (Robert) of Glouster and Willis Norton, Jr. (Fawn) of Wellston; sisters, Norma Gray and Grace Rollins, both of Missouri; brothers, Clyde Norton (Shirley) of Wellston, Earl Norton (Kay) of Wellston, Lanny Norton (Lynn) of Albany and John Norton (Priscilla) of Enon; sister-in-law, Betty Norton of Radcliff, as well as 20 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Willis was preceded in death by sister, Lela Norton; brothers, Robert Norton, Ray Norton (Hazel), Amos Norton (Betty), Leland Norton, Herbert Norton and Harry Norton; brother-in-laws, Jack Rollins and Austin Gray, as well as 1 grandson and 1 great-grandson. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Radcliff Cemetery.
