Pauline “Polly” Esther (Moats) Waldren, age 99, passed away unexpectedly August 10, 2014 with her family by her side. Pauline was born July 20, 1915 and raised in Fayette County by her parents, the late Isaac and Hazel (Stuck) Moats.
Pauline was a devoted Christian and an inspiration to those around her. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Pauline is survived by daughters, Sue Ellen (Harry) Pollock of Washington Courthouse, Ohio; Diana Kay (Wayne) Phillips of Jackson, Ohio; six grandchildren, Linda Pollock, Melissa (David) Lander, Mary (Brad) Haymond, Melinda (Scott) Wallace, Esther Pollock, and Brian Phillips; four great-grandchildren, Ethan and Reece Lander, Paige Wallace, and Ashley Haymond; sister, Ruth (Norm) Schafer of Indiana; and two step-great-grandchildren, Andrew Haymond and Lynnsay Haymond.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband, H. Owen (Doc) Waldren; four siblings, Orville Moats, Robert Moats, Eugene Moats, and Bonnie Hewitt; as well as a special uncle, Job Stuck.
