Jeremiah L. Cruse, age 32, passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 at his home in Barboursville, WV. Formerly of Jackson, Ohio, Jeremiah was born November 4, 1981 to Margaret Cruse Cheek and Richard Cruse in Elkhart, Indiana. Jeremiah was united in marriage on September 18, 2002 to Cassie Roe.
He is survived by his wife and two sons, Hunter Lee and Gary James Cruse of Carlsbad, New Mexico; and a daughter, Lilith Raven Mae Cruse of Georgia. Also surviving and close to Jeremiah’s heart are Jackie Gooch, Ceilia and Mark Nichols, Jessica Brady, Bobbie and Cecil Bentley, and Tommy Cheek.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson, Ohio with Pastor Kay Webb presiding. A repast supper will be held following the service at the farm of his uncle James Dunn, 22 Mulga Road, Wellston, Ohio. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
