John Booth, age 90, of Franklin, Ohio, died Wednesday April 16, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Jackson, Ohio on September 11, 1923.
John served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion in Franklin and Easter Star Lodge #55. He was formerly employed with the State Highway Patrol for 12 years before retirement.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, and their son, John Edward Booth.
John is survived by his guardian, Debbie (Keith) Clements; and two friends, Wilbur (Maggie) DePew and Jack (Betty) Hammock.
A celebration honoring John, Ruth and Johnny will be held Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with fellowship and refreshment at the Anderson Life Celebration Center, located at 360 Commerce Center Drive.
